IPod poetry : Heart
Oh the heart beats in its cage,
I've been a miner for a heart of gold,
But, she'll never break, never break, never break, never break this heart of stone,
Heartbreaker, your time has come, can't take your evil way, go away Heartbreaker !
Song (Artist / Album) : Heart of Gold (Neil Young / Harvest) - Heart in a cage (The Strokes / First Impression of Earth) - Heart of stone (The Rolling Stones / Out Of Our Heads) - Heartbreaker (Led Zeppelin / Led Zeppelin II)
IPod poetry :
1. Choose a word
2. On you IPod, scroll your song list by title
3. Listen to the songs that begin with said word
4. In each song, take out the sentence where the word appears first
5. Write down these sentences, in the same order as the songs in the list
6. When you are done, you've made a new song, or poem, or cadavre exquis with the sentences
7. Granted, it may not be a very good one !
Nota : there are many ways to do poetry with an Ipod, this is but one. One with rules, OuLiPo style.
Nota 2 : you can do that with a song list on Itunes or whatever software / mp3 player you use to organise your music, but it is not as fun (and probably not as alliterative) as IPod Poetry.
Nota 3 : sometime, the word(s) used in the title of a song are not in the song itself, in that case, simply use the title.

Bon, j'ai un peu triché parce que j'ai pas tant de chansons que ça qui commencent par le même mot en fait.
Genre pour Heart ma IPod poetry c'est juste : Soon turned out had a heart of glass... ^^; ('font combien de gigas vos lecteur mp3 ?!)
Donc, plutôt que de choisir un mot au hasard, j'ai prospecté le mot le plus convaincant et, ça me fait un peu de la peine de l'avouer, mais c'est Black. -___-
- Whoa Black Betty, bambalam !
- Black crows in the meadow sleepin' across a broad highwaaay
- MmmMmmMmmm I'am the black crow kiiing MmmMmmm
- As the last ship sails and the moon fades away from Black Diamond Baaaay
- Blaaack is the color of my true love's hair
- I just cut and blackout (bambalam !)
avec, dans l'ordre, Black Betty (reprise par Nick Cave), Black Crow Blues (Dylan), Black Crow King (Nick Cave^^;), Black Diamond Bay (Dylan ^^;;), Black is the color... (Nina Simone), Blackout (Bowie)
Non mais "Black" c'est évocateur ! En plus on constate une persistance du motif du corbeau.
Je crois que l'IPod Poetry la plus longue que je puisse faire c'est avec "You", ou "I". Pas très poètiques les pronoms personnels pourtant...
